Yes. We understand that regular business hours don’t always work with a client’s job or class schedule. We meet with prospective clients after hours and on weekends.

No. Phone consultations are available. An in-person meeting is usually best, though: you are about to hire someone to protect your rights, and being comfortable with your attorney matters.

Stop talking about the case. Do not answer questions without a lawyer present, and do not discuss the facts on a recorded jail phone or on social media. Write down everything you remember while it is fresh, and call us.

Most cases resolve before trial, but the outcome you get depends on whether the State believes you are willing and prepared to try it. Both of our attorneys have tried cases to juries, and we prepare every case as if it will be tried.

Sometimes. Depending on the offense and the outcome, an expunction or an order of nondisclosure may seal or erase the record. Deferred adjudication and pretrial diversion can also change what shows up on a background check. We evaluate this on day one, because record consequences often matter more than the sentence.

A criminal charge can trigger a separate university disciplinary process with its own timeline, and it can affect financial aid, housing, licensing, and visa status. Those consequences need to be managed alongside the criminal case, not after it.

Fees depend on the charge, the county, and whether the case is likely to be tried. We quote a flat fee in writing at the consultation, so you know the cost before you decide.
